THE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN INDICA'S AND SATIVA'S
INDICA'S
Cannabis Indica L. also known as Indicas are 1 of the 2 major cannabis groups and originate from Southern Asia and the Indian subcontinent (Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Tibet, etc..)
that most of the growing community has come to love. Even though it resembles his cousin the sativa, it is different in many ways. Indica's grow relatively short and bushy compared to its cousin Cannabis Sativa L., even though Indica's are a shorter version of its cousin, it can still reach 6 feet with very little help. The short cannabis plants make it great for indoor growers with limited space. This plant has broad, and deep green leaves that have a beautiful high range from a numb, relaxed, couch locked, and stress relieving high even putting people to sleep at times.
Indica's germinate and flower faster than sativa's, typically flowering for 7 - 10 weeks depending on the strain, which makes it popular among growers, and varies in taste and potency depending on the breeding background, and also have more CBD than THC which is the reason for this type of high that is given when smoking Indica's.
The chemicals in cannabis are called Cannabinoid's which includes CBD, THC, and CBN, and should be taken into consideration when beginning a grow.

SATIVA'S
Cannabis Sativa L. Also known as sativa originating from Colombia, Mexico, Thailand and Southeast Asia, etc.
Sativa’s are pretty much the opposite of there Cousins Cannabis Indica L. Sativas grow tall and vigorous and can easily reach 20 feet in height before you know it. It’s thin and narrow leaves and stem's reminds you of a wild plant growing uninformed in the jungle, which makes this plant great for outdoor growing. Sativa's have less chlorophyll than Indica's and more yellow pigment to protect it from the immense heat. Sativa's have a higher THC than CBD Ratio That gives smoker's a more cerebral soaring more energetic type of high Which can be good for smoker's who still have to get about their day. That’s why a lot of my friend's smoke sativa's, so they’re not stuck at home, To keep me from coming over and smoking all their stash. Don’t judge. Give me the chance and I will come over and smoke all of your shit right now.
As good as they may be the down side to growing sativa's are that it takes a few extra days to germinate, and a few to several weeks more to flower than indica's. Sativa's take anywhere from 10 to 16 weeks to fully mature and usually produce less than indica's. But we just can’t stay away can we? That’s why breeder's’started breeding sativa/indica hybrid’s, that can be flowered in as little as 9 weeks.
The upside to the sativa is that it veg's Faster than indica's, and is also easier to train due to it’s slim branches and stem. Sativa bud's grow longer but weigh less than the indica.
SATIVA PLANT
SATIVA LEAF
Now that we have went over the difference between Indica's and Sativa's let's view a few pictures of Indica and Sativa plants, and a chart of which ailments they help.

SATIVA STRAIN'S
LEFT: SENSI SEED'S MEXICAN SATIVA RIGHT: SERIOUS SEED'S AK47
Mexican Sativa
Mexico has a long and important cannabis tradition. The country that coined the term 'marijuana' is home to some wonderful varieties of cannabis which are rarely seen outside her borders.
The main ancestor and parent of the Mexican Sativa seed-strain is a prized cultivar from the southern province of Oaxaca. To adapt this exotic Sativa for flowering in the northern summer, it was infused with genes from Durban - the famously hardy African Sativa - as well as from a fast-flowering Pakistani hash plant. The best seed offspring were then back-crossed to the Oaxacan line to maintain the distinctive qualities of the original strain. Mexican Sativa fuses the subtle flavors of three continents within her long, delicate buds. Notes of sandalwood and aniseed are wrapped up in the sharp, fresh, resin-tinged scent of the Oaxacan original.
Mexican Sativa seeds are ideal for any garden grower who wants an easily cultivated strain, aesthetically beautiful plants and a clear, uplifting Sativa high. If you think that lower priced seeds must always be of low quality, these Ladies of the Sierra Madre will surprise you!
Flowering - September to October
Yield - up to 250 gr
Height - 200 to 300 cm
AK47
The AK47 does just about everything well. It has moderate sized plants with good yield, high THC content, and a reasonable growing time. It has a unique flavor and a very strong and pungent aroma that you will need to take care of properly if you wish to go undetected.
